CAMILLA is on the hunt to find an experienced and thorough Quality Assurance Manager to join our Production team.
Expanding rapidly into overseas markets, CAMILLA is well on our way to “Colour the world”! With great success already in our US, EU, and Australian markets, we are looking for a well-versed Quality Assurance Manager to ensure the highest standards of quality across our products. You will play a critical role in upholding our brand’s reputation for excellence, working closely with our production team to implement rigorous quality control processes and drive continuous improvement.
So, what will our QA Manager be doing on a day-to-day basis?
- Research, benchmark and agree clear quality standards that align with Camilla’s brand positioning, customer expectations and global luxury brands.
- Work with all vendors to ensure understanding, acceptance and adoption of Camilla standards.
- Work with Product Development team on proposed fabrics, trims and embellishments to assess quality, compliance and suitability.
- Investigate and make initial impact and risk assessments in case of product non-compliance and create effective reports for stakeholders.
- Plan and coordinate quality inspections at our 3PL warehouses worldwide.
- Establishing and writing Standard Operating Procedures for new processes to ensure efficiency and clarity
- Develop and implement “best in class” programmes for checking and monitoring quality at all stages of product development - Proto samples, SMS and production.
- Work closely with suppliers on pre-production risk assessment, inline inspection reviews and bulk production reviews.
- Utilising insights gained from customers, quality control teams and production to identify areas of improvement and implement corrective action plans.
- Implement a robust process for returns - with a clear path to repair, return and monitor.
What are we searching for in our new QA Manager?
- Experience in a technical role across Production, Quality Assurance, Garment construction, ideally as a QA Manger with considerable years’ experience.
- Experience in a luxury multi-national business with success in implementing quality procedures and gaining results.
- Planning and organisation skills to be able to manage and monitor the QA process.
- Attention to detail to ensure high levels of quality.
- Ability and availability to travel internationally
- Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively with suppliers, team, managers and customers.
- Strong negotiation skills for ensuring deliverables within budget and on time.
- Ability to work under pressure and motivate others to meet deadlines.
