House of CB is looking for a specialist Shoe Designer.  If you enjoy working in a creative, fast-paced environment, then we would love to hear from you!

We are a premium womenswear brand, that is focused on excellent quality garments, with fits that accentuate the female form. We design and develop all products in our London studio.

We are offering a permanent position for an experienced Shoe Designer to support the brand through the design and development process of all types of ladies shoes and boots.

You will be working closely with the Creative Director to a new line of shoes and boots for the online and global stores.  You will have the opportunity to design and develop a broad range of shoes as stand alone capsules, as well as pieces to compliment the core seasonal collections.

Major responsibilities include but are not limited to:


Develop flat sketches and detailed tech packs for all shoes product, including any graphics or print or texture elements. CAD up approved sketches in Illustrator. Participate in research and identifying seasonal fashion, fabric, technique, trim and merchandise trends. Partner with materials manager on material sourcing for all shoes product. Partner with offshore development office on manufacturer sourcing for shoe products. Manage material development, swatches and lab dip approvals for your own designs. Manage sample review process, addressing material, functionality and construction issues. Preparing sample feedback and approvals for specialist shoe factories. Communicate daily with cross-functional partners, both internal and global. Support sample teams and showroom set-up for range presentations.


Qualifications:

5+ years of related experience with excellent technical knowledge in shoe design and construction. Strong with colour, material, detailing in a broad range of shoes and boots. Excellent in communication, organization, and time management skills. Proactive, professional, flexible and able to multi-task. Strong knowledge of Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop and basic Excel.
