Purpose

The Paid Social Media Assistant is globally responsible for the day-to-day operation of campaign execution across Social Media channels. The role will support the Paid Social Media Manager in maintaining Burberry's luxury Digital leadership position, maximising Paid Social strategies to elevate the brand, inspire our fans, drive traffic to .com and fuel digital conversions. The role requires full funnel knowledge and expertise.

The successful candidate will have exposure to global media agency partners and Burberry media, marketing and creative teams. You should be an organised and confident communicator that embraces a fast-paced work environment. You're an analytical thinker who understands how to leverage data to provide actionable insights to ensure the flawless execution of global paid social activations..

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for day-to-day communications with the external agency teams, including briefing plans, assets, reporting and direction across Paid Social campaigns
  • Work closely with the Global Media and Creative Media teams; briefing content and copy requirements and presenting creative learnings
  • Work closely with the Global Performance Marketing team in order to align mid- and lower-funnel priorities
  • Conduct Paid Social audience analysis, campaign reporting and internal processes to share performance to wider teams within the department
  • Maintain the content calendar, collaborating with the Global Organic Social team and Marketing teams to align campaign timings and develop best in class paid social amplification plans
  • Be the day-to-day contact for all local marketing teams at Burberry, leading the campaign flighting, reviews and delivery to meet stakeholder requirements from a budgetary, content, copy and timings point of view
  • Coordinate with wider Burberry media channel stakeholders to ensure integrated messaging, audience targeting and marketing approach
  • Conduct research on latest social media trends and analyse competitor activity, evaluating new opportunities for Burberry


Experience
  • Paid social media planning and buying experience either in house or at media agency
  • Usage of social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Reddit, YouTube and Snapchat) and first-hand advertising implementation across platforms
  • Analytical thinker and ability to turn numbers and data into actionable insights
  • Ability to build relationships with global stakeholders and communicate effectively
  • Experience working with web analytics platforms (GA360)
  • Digital strategy experience - Bought, Owned, Earned
  • Understanding of APAC social media platforms
  • Interest in Fashion industry
