16Arlington is seeking a highly motivated Operations Executive to plan and oversee all stock movements across Wholesale and E-commerce. With the support of the Production Manager, the Operations Executive will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing the day-to-day operations of all transportations, logistics and warehouse processes, as well as the management of stock and inventory.

The Operations Executive will drive operational best practices look to streamline and integrate existing processes, with a focus on delivering the best services to our customers and value to the Company.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Logistics Optimization: Manage and continuously improve all aspects of logistics and transportation activities.
  • Inbound & Outbound Management: Oversee inbound shipments for production, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Coordinate B2B and B2C shipments with our 3PL warehouse partner.
  • Ensure stock related information in the ERP (Zedonk) and the WMS is correct and constantly updated.
  • Revenue Optimisation and Cost efficiencies: Proactively identify and implement cost-saving initiatives within the logistics operations.
  • Manage relationships with couriers and freight partners and negotiate rates.
  • Process implementation: Oversee all shipping processes, from initiation to delivery, that impact the transportation of goods.
  • Warehouse Operations: Liaise on a day-to-day basis with the warehouse for all fulfillment requests across wholesale, DTC and press.
  • Inventory Management: Responsible for stock management and reporting.
  • Manage gifting, press loans and staff order program, ensue it is accounted for and reported on correctly to the finance department
  • Customs Optimization: Act as the point of contact for customs and identify areas for process improvements, optimize current customs flow utilizing bonded warehouses and customs documents.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Has a strong social and environmentally aware mindset with a constant desire to improve the management of their department
  • Previous experience in a similar role with exposure to domestic as well as international freight, including customs
  • Excellent at planning, organizing and prioritizing workload and tasks within a dynamic and fast paced environment
  • Hands on approach and “can-do” mentality
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
  • Highly analytical and logical with a big picture understanding of stock movements in a business
  • An interest in developing processes and a desire to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Team player who is adaptable and flexible
  • Good working knowledge of warehouse management systems and a strong proficiency in excel is a must.
  • Experience working with Zedonk desirable
