Job Details
On seeks a Loop Implementation Lead for its Cyclon program. The strategy team is looking to add a circularity focused, execution oriented, cross-functionally minded person to its team.
Key tasks include defining the 18-month implementation plan, and leading the implementation of the loops through a 5 year ramp up plan.
You will report directly to a Corporate Strategy Senior Lead, collaborating seamlessly with diverse cross-functional teams to drive the implementation forward.
Your Mission
- Define the 18-month implementation plan across circularity loops (i.e., pre-consumer & post-consumer recycling, re-commerce, repair).
- Lead the implementation of the loops, including:
- Mapping of key partners
- Engagement and negotiation of partnerships
- Coordination of operational implementation within On
- Coordination within and across regions
- Scouting of sustainable innovation enabling/facilitating circularity.
- Traveling to partners for technology assessment and auditing.
- Driving projects through our circularity partnerships (The Footwear Collective , Fashion For Goods) - taking part in in-person project meetings and summits.
- Working closely with On's Head of Circularity to execute projects in line with On's Circularity Strategy.
Your Story
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or Science, Master's degree or MBA is a plus.
- 5+ years of work experience with a background in circularity, demonstrating expertise in areas such as circular business models, lifecycle assessments, or material innovation. Experience in the sports, fashion, or sportswear industry is a plus. Alternatively, a background in top management consulting with a proven track record of managing complex cross-functional projects.
- Strong project planning capability, including ability to break tasks into smaller pieces, develop roadmaps, delegate to cross-functional teams for execution.
- Comfortable in independently problem-solving, structuring and owning initiatives from strategy through hands-on execution.
- Able to nurture and manage senior internal and external stakeholders in order to enable processes and business results. ( e.g. Internal Leadership Group, External Vendors).
- You thrive in a dynamic and complex environment with the ability to work autonomously.
- You are a strong communicator and cross-functional collaborator, with the ability to take workstream ownership, partner with different functions, and effectively move projects and topics forward.
- Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders in English; proficiency in other languages is a plus.
