ABOUT POLENE

Established in 2016 by three siblings, Polène crafts a collection of leathergoods that blends minimalism and creative exploration to offer unique shapes and signatures achieved through excellent craftsmanship.

The leather, sourced exclusively from certified Italian and Spanish tanneries, is sculpted to create organic forms, folds, drapery effects, or weavings.

The manufacturing process is entrusted to our artisans in Ubrique, a city in Spain specializing in high-end leathergoods, which hosts all of Polène's production trades.

Since 2023, Polène has been expanding into a new realm of expression: jewelry. Thematic collections explore nature, from the undulations of the wind to the textures of rocks sculpted into the material.

THE POLENE ENVIRONMENT

In a context of strong international growth and structuring, our PR & Influence department is seeking its future Head of PR for the American and Canadian markets, to lead a team of 3 people in our NYC offices. 

You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive PR strategies that enhance the brand's image, visibility, and market presence in these key regions. You will lead the PR team, manage relationships with key media outlets, influencers, KOLs (Key Opinion Leaders), and VIPs. You will work closely with the rest of the PR team based in Paris, France.

Your missions will include :
 

Strategy Development:

• Develop and implement PR strategies to increase brand awareness and market share in the US and Canada.
• Align PR strategies with overall brand goals and marketing initiatives.
• Work closely with cross-functional partners to maximize PR & Influencer strategy and connectivity.
• Innovate and advocate for new ways to expand our VIP & Influencer marketing initiatives by staying current on industry trends, up-and-coming celebrities, influencers, etc.

   

Media and Influencer Relations:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key media outlets, journalists, stylists, influencers, KOLs, and VIPs.
• Secure high-quality media coverage in top-tier fashion, lifestyle, and business publications.

   

Team Leadership:

• Lead, mentor, and manage the US & Canada PR team to ensure high performance and professional growth.
• Coordinate with the global PR team in Paris to maintain consistent messaging and strategy.

   

Analytics and Reporting:

• Monitor, analyze, and report on PR performance metrics.
• Provide insights and recommendations to improve PR strategies and outcomes.

   

Budget Management:

• Manage the PR budget for the US and Canada, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
• Allocate resources strategically to maximize impact and ROI

   

Travel and Flexibility:

• Based in NYC, with flexibility to travel in the USA, to Canada and Paris (HQ). 

KEYS TO SUCCESS

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in public relations, within the fashion industry.
• Proven track record of successful PR campaigns and media relations.
• Strong network of media contacts in the US and Canada.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities (management of 3 PR professionals).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in PR analytics tools and software.
