Job Overview:
The Selling Effectiveness Specialist plays a pivotal role in driving the success of selling initiatives through strategic planning, collaboration, and analytical insight. This role is responsible for optimizing selling calendars, coordinating outreach support, and creating compelling promotional event communication. The Specialist will work closely with cross-functional teams to align selling strategies with broader initiatives and provide actionable recommendations to boost sales performance.

Job Overview:
The Selling Effectiveness Specialist plays a pivotal role in driving the success of selling initiatives through strategic planning, collaboration, and analytical insight. This role is responsible for optimizing selling calendars, coordinating outreach support, and creating compelling promotional event communication. The Specialist will work closely with cross-functional teams to align selling strategies with broader initiatives and provide actionable recommendations to boost sales performance.
Essential Functions:
- Selling Calendar Optimization : Plans for & builds compelling selling and service materials that equip selling teams with the tools and information needed to effectively connect with customers and drive sales. This includes promotional & human calendar moments (Mother's Day, etc) as well as seasonal campaigns, holidays and fashion & trend.
- Outreach Coordination: Leads the intake, planning, execution, and analysis of the outreach calendar in close collaboration with cross-functional teams. Works with data analytics to create intuitive customer segment lists that ensure targeted, impactful outreach and drive engagement across all campaigns. Develops practical outreach templates and selling soundbites that empower teams to execute effective and engaging outreach efforts.
- Promotional Event Communication: Formulates clear and engaging event communication detailing all aspects of promotional events, including dates, times, key promotional details and inclusion/exclusion lists. Provides strategic guidance on how to leverage the promotional event to drive sales. Includes best practices for engaging customers, maximizing promotional opportunities, and ensuring a high level of selling effectiveness. Ensures b.communication is presented in a compelling manner to both inform and activate.
- Team Collaboration: Partners with Customer Experience & Strategy and cross-functional teams to align selling strategies with broader initiatives. Facilitates intake processes and ensures consistent support for selling initiatives across all functions.
- Reporting & Analytics: Supports the Selling Strategy team by completing monthly and ad hoc reporting to track and support selling initiatives. Offers analytical insights to help identify trends, measure performance, and suggest actionable improvements aimed at enhancing selling effectiveness.
- Content Management: Maintains the Selling Strategy SharePoint pages to ensure it is a consistently reliable and credible resource.
Qualifications and Competencies:

- Practices open and continuous communication, values keeping others informed, effectively presenting information in a clear, concise manner
- Excellent leadership, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across functional lines and at many levels
- Strong organization skills; Can manage timelines and workload to deliver projects on time
- Ability to think creatively, strategically and technically
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and Company needs
- Proficient in Microsoft applications like PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, Word, etc.
Physical Requirements:
- Requires periods of walking, standing, communicating, reaching, crouching and climbing ladders
- Frequent use of computers and other technology, necessary to perform job functions, including handheld equipment, cash register and ability to process register transactions
- Frequently lift/move up to 25lbs
