Video Retoucher (m/f/x)

Carhartt WIP is part of the WIP Trading AG. Our family-owned business group started as a licensee and European distributor of the US workwear manufacturer Carhartt in the early 1990s. Since then, it develops its own collections based on workwear originals.

Carhartt Work In Progress aims to continuously progress and evolve, without ever losing sight of its origins. Over the course of the past two decades, our business has developed organically, along with its customers, the culture that surrounds the brand, and its employees who have helped shape what Carhartt WIP is today.

For our office in Berlin we are looking for you as Video Retoucher (m/f/x).

Your Responsibilities:

• Retouching and optimization of video material for product presentations, commercials and social media content
• Color corrections, image adjustments and improvement of video quality (hue, contrast, brightness, etc.)
• Retouching skin, surfaces and other details in videos
• Working with different formats and adapting to various platform requirements (e.g. e-commerce websites, Instagram, YouTube)
• Working closely with photographers, videographers and the post-production department
• Ensuring compliance with corporate identity and brand guidelines in the visual presentation
• Supporting the development of new retouching techniques and processes

Your Profile:

• Proven experience as a video retoucher or in a similar position, ideally in e-commerce
• Experience of Photo-Retouch is an advantage
• Confident with Adobe Premiere, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve and other common video editing tools
• Knowledge of image editing programs such as Photoshop, Capture and Camera Raw an advantage
• Strong understanding of colour matching and video optimization
• An eye for detail and a high affinity for quality assurance
• Knowledge of editing videos for e-commerce and online platforms (B2C sector an advantage)
• Ability to work in a team and strong communication skills in English, German is an advantage
• Independent, structured and solution-oriented way of working
• Good sense for finding the right look and creative handling of raw footage
