What you'll be doing
- Create, update, and maintain accurate product listings, including titles, descriptions, pricing, images, and specifications across e-commerce platforms and connect app in both English and Arabic. (Arabic knowledge is a must)
- Enhance product listings by adding detailed descriptions, high-quality images, videos, and other multimedia content and other product attributes in English and Arabic to improve customer engagement and conversion rates.
- Regularly audit product listings to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with brand guidelines and platform standards in both languages
- Upload high-quality images, ensuring they meet platform requirements, and adhere to proper naming conventions for easy searchability and organization. Ensure images accurately represent the product and enhance the overall quality of the listing.
- Ensure that product listings adhere to specific guidelines and requirements of different e-commerce platforms (e.g. app vs web vs connect app) in both English and Arabic.
- Coordinate with marketing, sales, product development, and inventory teams to acquire the necessary data and assets (e.g., product specifications, images, descriptions) for creating and enriching product listings.
- Monitor competitor product listings and market trends to recommend adjustments to pricing, descriptions, and other listing elements.
- Track and analyze listing performance metrics, such as conversion rates and click-through rates, to optimize and improve overall product visibility and sales.
- Improve internal site search functionality by refining search terms, keywords, and product attributes to ensure accurate and relevant search results for users in both English and Arabic.
What you'll need to succeed
- Content Development: Develops basic content for a specific purpose. Creates, obtains, sizes, crops and organizes tables, charts, graphics and photos that support text. Develops (flexible page and other) templates for multiple platforms. adheres to brand and design guidelines. Writes text such as company background, case studies, blog posts, testimonials, and resources. Coordinates translation, localization, and external link activities.
- Copywriting and Editing: Follows standard style guidelines such as 'Chicago Manual of Style' or 'Associated Press'. Writes or edits publishing materials, scripts or other communication media. Assesses considerations for matching the format and style to audience needs. Reviews and discusses common problems with written text. Selects appropriate marketing copy or promotional text for specific types of publications.
- Storytelling: Assists others in the improvement of the business story archive, techniques or practices. Uses standard company storytelling processes to engage customers. Demonstrates basic storytelling principles to create compelling stories that will positively influence potential customers. Helps experienced practitioners plan, develop and present business stories to customers. Applies the organizations accepted storytelling method based on formal training.
