Job Details
We are looking for a Facility & Maintenance Senior Specialist based in our Shanghai APAC regional headquarters to oversee the operational integrity and maintenance standards of our retail and workplace locations across the region. This pivotal role ensures that our retail and workplace meet global benchmarks and adhere to stringent compliance requirements while fostering strong vendor partnerships and championing ongoing improvement projects. You will be instrumental in enhancing the operational efficiency and sustainability of our retail environments, contributing significantly to the brand's reputation and customer experience.
Your Mission
- Develop and optimise a comprehensive facility management program to ensure the upkeep and maintenance of our APAC retail and workplace locations, ensuring alignment with global standards and guidelines.
- Drive maintenance and service strategies to provide effective guidance to improve the team technical level and efficiency. Work with the project team side by side for smooth hand-over of new projects and alignment on On's standards.
- Oversee all facility-related documentation, ensuring compliance with financial, health, safety, and environmental regulations. Monitor and maintain inventory of all facility-related supplies and documents archive, and conduct a periodical review to support ongoing operations.
- Develop vendor relationships, sourcing local suppliers and contractors while negotiating contracts to support regional needs. Proactively assess maintenance needs, safety standards, and compliance with company policies.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including parallel departments at the head office, regional retail teams, office managers and store managers, to ensure alignment with business objectives. Able to filter and prioritise proper/necessary facility-related issues in the best interest of the yearly budget, at the same time, optimise the brand image.
Your Story
- A bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, construction management, or a related field will be preferred.
- Proven at least 5 years experience in facility and maintenance management, preferably within a retail or customer-focused environment, within Fashion or Premium Corporate Environments
- Strong leadership skills and experience managing a diverse team across multiple locations.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Deep understanding of local regulations and standards about retail facilities and building compliance
- Technical proficiency in facility management software and systems.
- A proactive, solutions-oriented approach with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- Fluent in English and Mandarin, Japanese proficiency will receive additional points.
