POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Wholesale Account Executive will be responsible for driving the growth and success of Moncler's wholesale business by managing existing accounts, developing new business opportunities, and implementing strategies to increase overall sales. The role requires a blend of strategic thinking, relationship management, and market analysis to effectively expand Moncler's presence in the wholesale sector. This position reports to the Director of Wholesale.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Account Management
  • Maintain and nurture relationships with existing wholesale accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Monitor and analyze account performance metrics; develop and implement strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Oversee the order process from initial inquiry through to fulfillment, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products.
  • Promptly address and resolve any issues or concerns raised by wholesale clients. Ensuring high level of customer satisfaction.


Business Development:
  • Conduct thorough research to identify new business opportunities and potential wholesale clients within the industry.
  • Proactively seek and secure new wholesale accounts through networking, market research, travel, and competitive benchmarking.
  • Manage sales market appointment and sales campaign, and product presentations to potential and existing clients. Ensuring sales target and strategic objectives are met.
  • Negotiate terms, conditions with new and existing accounts to maximize profitability while maintaining client satisfaction.


Sales Strategy and Execution
  • Develop and implement sales plans and strategies to achieve overall business growth objectives.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to design and execute promotional campaigns, sales incentives, and product launches.
  • Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform strategic decisions and identify growth opportunities. Provide feedback to upper management and drive initiatives.


Administrative Duties
  • Prepare and submit regular reports and analysis on sales activities, account performance, and market trends to senior management.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all client interactions, sales activities, and account information in the company tools and systems (i.e. Skypad sell out reporting and seasonal invoicing).
  • Ensure all sales documentation, contracts, and agreements are accurately completed and processed.


Collaboration and Communication
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including HQ Teams, marketing, logistics, and other Group partners to ensure alignment on sales objectives and customer needs.
  • Provide feedback around product and marketing and visual merchandising teams based on client input, market trends and brand visibility.
  • Train and inform partners around Moncler DNA, Brand, and product. Driving sell-through and brand desirability.


REQUIREMENTS:

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or relevant field.
  • In lieu of degree, relevant experience is accepted.


Work Experience
  • 3-5 years' experience in wholesale sales, account management, or similar role.
  • Luxury experience is a plus.

  • Excellent negotiation and presentation abilities.
  • Client centric approach with strong relationship building skills.

  • Ability to inspire and lead change.
  • Excellent project management capabilities, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and multitask in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Business acumen and strategic agility, able to support sales growth, manage costs, and maximize profitability.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to analyze reports to make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong ability to drive for results without compromising ethics and quality.
  • Agility and innovative thinking.
  • Strong understanding of competitive landscape, market trends.
  • Professional presentation; able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with all levels internally as well as with clients.
  • Operational management and efficiency.
  • Technologically adept with proficiency in Microsoft tools (e.g. MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook).
  • Flexibility to frequent travel to visit customers and market research.

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in New York, Moncler includes a reasonable estimate of the salary rate range for this role. This considers the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions; including but not limited to business or organizational needs, skill sets, experience and training, licensure, and certifications. A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range is $80,000 to $100,000 annually.

In addition to a competitive base salary, the appointed candidate will also be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, various paid time off programs, employee discount, and a retirement plan with employer contribution.

The position requires 4 days per week on Site in the Moncler Corporate Office, located in the heart of Soho, Manhattan
