Job Details
As the Head of Production, you lead our sourcing and production operations globally to secure the best customer offer for today and the future. You oversee the entire production process from souring materials, product development and quotation until the final product delivery and quality control.
Guided by the strategic direction of the brand and the assortment, you create unmatched product value and operational excellence through a world class supplier network and operating model. You are accountable to set the sourcing strategies for the brand, tie our short- and long-term targets together and through supply chain management enable sustainable, profitable growth.
What you will do:
- You are accountable to lead operate the organization across multiple locations including the performance of our internal production offices in terms of people, process, performance and budget.
- Main KPIs will be focused on operational excellence in on time delivery, quality, product development and time-to-market, strategic progress on our sustainability agenda, strong in-price control and development.
- Secure short and long-term capacity planning to enable long term sustainable growth and optimize short term workflow, minimize delays and maximize efficiency.
- Lead the production team from a distance, managing team performance and development to ensure that production goals and strategic plans are met. The role has 5 direct reports, with the wider team consisting of 80-90 employees.
- Establish and implement quality standards in accordance with our brand point of view and procedures for all products and resolve any quality issues that arise during production.
- Accountable for supplier relationships and lifecycle management of our full supply chain; including sourcing and onboarding of new suppliers, manage performance and potentially exiting suppliers upholding responsible purchasing practices.
- In partnership with your assortment leadership team and key stakeholders in the supply chain you develop and drive the fulfillment of the strategic goals and activities which secure the best customer offer.
- Identify opportunities and build targeted strategies across the different tiers of the supply chain to enable improved profit levels while reducing emissions.

What you need to succeed:
- Extensive experience in a senior production management role from a global fashion brand with proven track record of negotiations and stakeholder management across the supply chain
- Strong leadership to inspire and manage a large diverse team across multiple locations.
- In-depth knowledge of production processes in a global supply chain with a focus on profit margins, material sourcing, quality control and sustainability.
- Experience developing and setting strategies to drive business goals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure
- Flexible to frequently travel within Europe and to Asia as and when required

This is a full-time permanent contract based at our Head Office in London.
