Join us in revolutionizing our global warehouse operations and delivering excellence across our distribution network! As a Senior Specialist for Global Warehouse Operations, you will have the opportunity to lead projects and to support initiatives which will directly shape and impact the growth and expansion efforts at On, whilst ensuring timely, cost-effective, high quality delivery of our products. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with strong project management expertise and a passion for the sporting goods industry.
In your role you will partner closely with different key stakeholders across On's Global Supply Chain team, regional operations- and logistics colleagues and 3PL partners, among many others. This position is based in Zurich, Switzerland and our working language is English.
Your Mission
- Lead or support projects from start to finish, ensuring a successful implementation and adoption in one, several or all our sites globally.
- Lead or support the onboarding process for new 3PL partners, ensuring seamless integration into the distribution network and alignment with business objectives. Develop standardized onboarding procedures, conduct training sessions, and provide ongoing support to 3PL partners to ensure compliance with SLAs and SOPs.
- Coordinate warehouse launch projects, facility expansions, and relocations, to optimize operational efficiency and capacity. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop project plans, coordinate resources, and minimize disruption to warehouse operations.
- Maintain service level agreements (SLAs) with internal stakeholders and 3PL partners and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze performance data and collaborate with regional operations and warehouse teams to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Lead and coordinate process improvement initiatives to streamline warehouse operations, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
Your Story
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain & Operations Management or a related field.
- +5 years of progressive experience in project and process management in the warehouse environment.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, particularly for global projects with high budgets.
- Deep understanding of scope and change management, with the associated cost management
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Process oriented mindset with the ability to utilize data-driven insights to identify future projects and initiatives. Background in process improvement and analysis is highly preferred.
- Demonstrable record of delivering value and developing logistics capabilities in a complex, ideally global, business.
