Job Details

Position Overview

Primary responsibility over the financial performance of Thailand and Vietnam. Under the guidance of the Finance Manager (TH & VN), the Financial Analyst / Senior Financial Analyst will support all activities related to planning and analysis, management reporting, forecasting, profit planning and compliance to support and achieve strategic business goals through close collaborations with Retail Leader, market functional leads and Regional Finance Team.

Key Accountabilities

Financial Planning & Analysis:
  • To assist in top-line and bottom-line P&L management of Thailand & Vietnam, including but not limiting to forecasting of revenue; analyzing and reviewing marketing and operating expenses at store and market level
  • Monitor expense spending for the market and collaborate with accounting shared service team to ensure timeliness and accuracy of expense coding
  • Assist in annual budget exercise by analyzing key business drivers and forecast full P&L for the market
  • Assist in preparation of market's store network plan by preparing pro-forma P&L analysis and supporting any strategic presentation
  • Collaborating with Regional Finance Team to meet regional reporting requirements
  • Completing ad-hoc projects assigned based on needs of the business

Financial Controllership:
  • Assist in the development and implementation of strong internal controls to safeguard business against compliance risks
  • Assist in the review and preparation of documents including commercial contracts and other local regulatory documents

Qualifications
  • Degree holder in Accounting, Finance or relevant practical experience.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in finance, audit or accounting. Candidates with relevant FP&A experience will be highly advantageous.
  • Analytical mindset with good business acumen.
  • Proficient with financial modeling techniques for scenario testing and goal setting.
  • Good interpersonal skill, team player and self-motivated.
  • Excellent written, communication and presentation skills.
  • High level of self-management and ability to function amidst tight deadlines and changing priorities.
  • Ability to prioritize and work in a highly dynamic, fast paced and team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to extract complex data and analyze it to monitor business performance and identify trends
  • Strong Microsoft Word, Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Experience with Business Objects and Hyperion (Preferred)
  • Experience in luxury retail and familiarity with matrix organization structure in an MNC (Preferred)
