Arddun Agency is a London-based international wholesale and consulting agency, specialising in womenswear and lifestyle brands.
Launched in January 2020 our agency has grown quickly to look after over 20 brands that are stocked in the best stores globally. We take a merchandising led approach with the aim of providing the best possible product thus driving growth and sell through in an organic way.
We are now recruiting for a Finance Assistant to join us as we continue to grow our business. This would be an ideal role for a developing finance professional with an interest in the fashion industry and suited to someone looking to work for 4 or 5 days per week.
You will be part of a team of three providing support to the Finance Manager and the Finance Director.
Key responsibilities, including but not limited to:
- Processing invoices, expenses and credit card submissions on a timely basis, ensuring accuracy on coding, tax and in line with the company expense policy.
- Chasing for expense information and receipts.
- Credit control:
- Maintaining strong and successful client relationships.
- Tracking and managing creditor debt, ensuring timely payments are made.
- Predicting and solving payments issues before they become problematic.
- Regular effective reporting and escalation of unpaid debts.
- Ongoing development of related systems and processes.
- Liaising with wider team and relationship building.
- Ad hoc duties as required.
Skills and Experience:
- Part qualified/studier (AAT or similar).
- Proficient on Xero.
- Strong MS Office skills.
- Knowledge of Pleo and Dext desirable.
- Be reliable, thorough, with excellent attention to detail.
- Be flexible and adaptable to changing demands and a fast-paced environment.
- Be committed to excellence.
- Highly personable team player.
- Have strong problem solving and organisational skills and be able prioritise own tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Experience of working in an SME within a small finance team preferable.
