RSVP Gallery Design Director

Citizens of Humanity Group is proud to work with Don C, and launch RSVP Gallery as a stand-alone brand.

We are looking for an LA-based creative Director to design and develop the collection, initially focused on Men’s.

• In partnership with Don C, and our Creative Directors, develop seasonal concepts and product ranges for RSVP Gallery
• Develop a complete collection and execute all product details and specifications for this Men’s fashion brand.
• Create and maintain technical drawings and specifications for products, working directly with the pattern team to create the collection.
• Conduct material research and sourcing for prototypes and final production.
• Conduct fittings and make adjustments to prototypes for optimal fit and comfort.
• Review and approve product samples for quality and adherence to design specifications.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends, consumer preferences, and competitor analysis.
• Maintain accurate records of design concepts, technical drawings, and product specifications.
• Assist in the development of style guides and design documentation. Provide guidance and support to junior designers and interns.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, manufacturing, and marketing, to ensure smooth product execution.
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple calendars.
• Liaise with suppliers to source materials and components for products. Collaborate with the production team to ensure products are manufactured to the required standard.
• Work with the sales and marketing teams to ensure products meet customer needs and are effectively promoted. Manage product development timelines and ensure products are delivered within to market calendar.  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in fashion design or a related field.
• Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in apparel design.
• Strong skills in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with others.
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
