Job Details

Following the guidelines and inputs of the Senior Women's Jewelry Designer and the Senior Men's Jewelry Designer, the Junior Jewelry Designer will work to contribute to the design and development of new lines across Fashion, Silver, Fine, and Premium categories.

Key Accountabilities

Research trends and inspirations:
  • Participate in the creativity of the category through knowledge of latest trends.
  • Monitor the marketplace to identify opportunities to stay ahead of the competitors.
  • Based on a theme or on Senior Designers inputs, research inspiration through: art, exhibitions, suppliers, archives, web, books, etc.


Design and creativity:
  • Assist Senior Designers in the various stages of jewelry creation.
  • Collaborate in the design process, from the initial idea to the final product, including 3D renderings, mappings of collection and help in the daily tasks of the jewelry studio.
  • Develop sketches in coherence with the inputs and the brand's aesthetic.
  • Propose new ideas.
  • Share drawings/sketches with the Senior Designers and modify or integrate them with materials, and colors.


Fashion Show development:
  • Support in monitoring the development of samples, supporting Product Development by explaining product peculiarities or providing solutions in case of issues.
  • In collaboration with the Senior Designers ensure accurate control of the developed samples, verifying their coherence with the initial drawings, making sure the samples reflect the ideas, and ensuring that the materials are appropriate and enhance the product.


Requirements

  • Degree in jewelry design, fashion design, or a related field.
  • Previous experience (1 to 3 years) in jewelry design, with knowledge of the various stages of the design process.
  • Proficiency in rendering design (Photoshop) and 3D modeling software (ex Rhino) would be a plus.
  • Ability to work under the guidance of experienced designers while being autonomous on certain tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Well-organized, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Team spirit and ability to collaborate in a dynamic environment.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in response to changing priorities.
  • Strong passion and genuine interest in the industry.
  • Problem-solving and solution-oriented with a ‘Can-do' attitude.
  • Ability to maintain energy and focus while working under pressure.
  • Fluency in both Italian and English.
